On November 29, Baidu Alpha School held the opening ceremony for the second session of the 2019 AI industry training class in Zhonglou, Changzhou. Cai Jun, deputy secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, and Yin Shiming, vice president of Baidu, attended the event.

Baidu Alpha School was established in May 2018. Its training programs are dedicated for the representatives of Baidu’s partners, state owned enterprises, government leaders and company experts in the field of AI technology. It is committed to discovering and cultivating industry-leading personnel for the society, and exploring and promoting cooperation in industrial intelligence and ecosystem.

In October this year, Zhonglou district, based on the industry resources of Baidu Cloud, Dell, Amco, Apple and Microsoft, established an industrial big data platform and innovation workshop. The integration of AI and other cutting-edge technologies has led to the transformation and upgrading of the traditional manufacturing industry of Zhonglou, creating a new highlight in the course of building Changzhou into a "star city of industry.”

This session of training was organized by Changzhou Micro-Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. About 40 senior executives of Baidu's AI section and partner companies attended the training.
