On March 29, the World New Energy Vehicle Smart Energy Conference was opened in Wujin, Changzhou. Vice mayors Liang Yibo and Li Lin attended the event. More than 500 representatives from the research and investment institutions of the new energy industry participated in the conference.

The conference focuses on how to solve the common problems of the new energy vehicle industry in the next decade by promoting industrial transformation and upgrading from the supply, transmission and consumption of energy.

As one of the 10 pillar industries of Changzhou, the new energy industry has been growing rapidly in recent years, especially in the sectors of rail transit, smart cars, high-end equipment and robots. Going forward, Changzhou will continue to accelerate the development of smart manufacturing, support key enterprises to grow bigger and stronger, and cultivate a number of top enterprises with global influence.
