Recently, the Jiangsu Crop Protection Equipment Innovation Center started construction on the premise of Aisen Agricultural Machinery Changzhou Co., Ltd. Approved by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, it was the first provincial-level innovation platform for agricultural machinery equipment. Prof. Chen Xuegeng and Prof. Zhang Hongcheng, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Mr. Liu Hengxin, director of the Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), Mr. Shen Yi, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Mr. Xu Zheng, deputy mayor of Changzhou, attended the launching ceremony.

Aisen Agricultural Machinery, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Swan Group, is located in Jintan Economic Development Zone. The company is dedicated to the R & D, production, sales and technical services of agricultural machinery. In response to the advancement of rice mechanization, the company took the lead in developing a series of self-propelled machines and agricultural drones for crop protection, with independent intellectual property rights and a number of invention patents.

The Jiangsu Crop Protection Equipment Innovation Center was co-sponsored by the Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of MARA, the Provincial Plant Protection and Quarantine Station, the Provincial Agricultural Machinery Development and Application Center, and the Provincial Agricultural Machinery Industry Association. With a total investment of 120 million yuan, the construction of the center is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
