The smart charging devices produced by CAMS, a Changzhou-based company, debuted on the second day of the 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) in the auto exhibition hall, attracting a large number of visitors.
Dr. Feng Sihan, CEO of Volkswagen Group (China), introduced to the visitors the functions and characteristics of CAMS’ products.
All services, including reserving a charging spot, navigating to the nearest charging point, connecting to intelligent parking lock, quick charging, senseless payment and POI (Point-of-Interest), can be accessed via the CAMS PLUS app.
CAMS was founded in Wujin National High-Tech Industrial Zone (WIZ) in 2019. It is a joint venture established by Volkswagen Group (China), China First Automobile Co.,Ltd., Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Corp.,Ltd. and Star Charge. Its “Internet of Autos”Center with a total investment of 4 billion yuan is classified as a key project of Changzhou in 2020.
In addition to CAMS, Changzhou MiDIVI’s products were also showcased in the CIIE. MiDIVI’s MR products were applied by Microsoft and AstraZeneca in the healthcare industry. Doctors using AstraZeneca’s holographic AR display system just need a pair of MR glasses to locate pulmonary nodules, which takes about 5 to 10 minutes only, and the following surgery can be done through several small cuts.
