On December 20, it was learned from Changzhou Customs that the foreign trade volume of Changzhou in November 2018 reached 20.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%. The city’s export volume stood at 15.55 billion yuan, up 14.2%, while import volume reached 5.03 billion yuan, down 10.9%.

From January to November in 2018, the total volume of Changzhou’s foreign trade surged 7.5% year-on-year to 206.59 billion yuan. The exports reached 150.02 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%, while imports jumped 11.4% year-on-year to 56.57 billion yuan. In the meantime, the city’s trade surplus reached 93.45 billion yuan, up 3.2% on a year-on-year basis.
