From June 19 to 20, Lee Miao Kwong, the ambassador of Mauritius to China, came to visit Changzhou.
Jiang Juncheng, president of Changzhou University, and Sima Shuanglong, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, met with Ambassador Lee Miao Kwong. Sima briefed Ambassador Li on the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Changzhou and Mauritius’ cities in recent years, especially the achievements of friendly exchanges and cooperation in the economic and social fields between Changzhou and Beau Bassin-Rose Hill. Ambassador Li said that Changzhou is one of the first and most active Chinese cities to carry out economic and trade cooperation with the cities in Mauritius. The friendship city exchanges between Changzhou and Beau Bassin-Rose Hill has made important contributions to the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
As a representative of relatives of the international students from Beau Bassin-Rose Hill, Ambassador Li also attended the 2019 Graduation Ceremony of Changzhou University and delivered a speech.
