The 15th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF), jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, was held in Guangzhou from October 10th to 13th.

CISMEF aims to build a platform of "display, trade, exchange and cooperation" for SMEs home and abroad so as to increase understanding, strengthen cooperation, expand exchanges and strike common development for China's SMEs and their foreign counterparts, which enhance the healthy development of SMEs in China. It is held every autumn in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China, and now CISMEF has been successfully held for 13 sessions. With the highest level, largest scale and most wide-ranging influence in the Asia-Pacific region, CISMEF has enjoyed the support of many countries.

The theme of this year's CISMEF is “Intelligent/ Wisdom/Smart Manufacturing/ Energy Conservation”, which fully reflects the characteristics of "display, trade, exchange and cooperation". The total exhibition area is 150,000 square meters with a total of 6,628 booths. During the exhibition, a number of forums, match-making seminars, cross-border e-commerce events, and special activities of overseas exhibitors were also held.

Over the years, Jiangsu province has attached great importance to the CISMEF. This year, more than 50 companies from the province participated in the exhibition, among which there were 11 companies in Changzhou involved in the fields of new energy, medical equipment, arts and crafts, and others. Many merchants came to Changzhou’s booths to inquire about their products, some of them reached a cooperation intention at the scene. Endrive Electronic Technology signed three letters of intent with an amount of 1.5 million yuan; Pubang Medical Equipment signed four letters of intent with an amount of 1.05 million; Bangjie Anticorrosive Thermal Insulation Technology signed three letters of intention with an amount of 250,000.

CISMEF serves as an effective platform to promote exchanges and cooperation between global SMEs, with its highlights and remarkable results. Changzhou looks forward to more companies in the city to showcase their products and develop the market on this platform in the future.
