On November 9, Changzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and Changzhou Science and Education Town jointly hosted the 2018 Conference for International Technology Transfer and Communication (CITTC), inviting 8 experts from Australia, Indonesia, Ukraine and other countries to release their latest technologies in the fields of new materials, new generation information technology, biomedicine and health care.
In recent years, under the guidance and assistance of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Changzhou has developed international scientific and technological cooperation in various ways for countries with strong industrial technological innovation capabilities such as the United Kingdom, Israel, Germany, Finland, the United States, Russia, and Australia. It has become an important part of Changzhou's work on industrial upgrading and technological progress.
At present, Changzhou has built many institutions and industrial parks engaged in international scientific and technological cooperation, such as China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park, Sino-German Innovation Park, and Oxford University Innovation. There are 4 international technology cooperation bases, 86 foreign-invested R&D institutions and 59 overseas R&D institutions.
Representatives of over 60 enterprises and research institutes in Changzhou participated in the conference and had face-to-face discussion with foreign experts.
