In November 2018, the annual passenger throughput of Changzhou Airport exceeded 3 million for the first time. As of December 18, the annual passenger throughput of the International Zone of Changzhou Airport surpassed 400,000 for the first time, an increase of 105% over the same period last year, which effectively promoted economic and cultural exchanges between Changzhou and the rest of the world.

The route from Changzhou to Nha Trang, Vietnam is the hottest one of Changzhou Airport. Its flight frequency and seat occupancy rate are much higher than the other airports in surrounding areas. At present, the international routes to destinations like Bangkok, Thailand and Nha Trang, Vietnam, as well as regional routes to Macao, have realized the frequency of one flight per day, bringing about a significant increase in leisure and business passengers.

The winter flight plan is carried out from October 28, 2018 to March 30, 2019, adding the route to Da Nang, Vietnam, with which there is a total of 26 domestic and overseas destinations.

Over the past four years, Changzhou Airport has achieved an average annual growth rate of 64.2%. In response to the upcoming Spring Festival travel season, Changzhou Airport has actively communicated with the airlines in advance to open routes to Yangon, Myanmar and Long Beach, Philippines during the Spring Festival, as well as add more flights to Taipei and Nha Trang to further facilitate passenger air travel.
