On November 28, Mayor Ding Chun met with the delegation of Terex Corporation headed by John L. Garrison, Jr., Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer, following the Phase III Groundbreaking Ceremony of Terex (Changzhou) Machinery Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, Ding Chun said that Changzhou has always focused on the driving force of industrial development, intelligent manufacturing and quality assurance, and will continue to create an optimal business environment. Terex not only chose to invest in Changzhou, but also expanded its production several times, which has achieved good development here. Going forward, Changzhou will continue to provide a quality development environment.

Terex (Changzhou) Machinery Co., Ltd. was the first solely-invested enterprise established in China by Terex Corporation. The Phase III Expansion, with a total investment of 100 million USD, will potentially bring the products and technologies of Terex Utilities (Insulated Booms) and Terex Material Processing to China, in addition to the strong existing manufacturing base for Genie Aerial Products.

It is learned that Terex (Changzhou) achieved sales of 1.818 billion yuan in 2017 and 2 billion from January to October this year.
