On April 27, a mobilization meeting was held in Beijing to mark Labor Day. Exemplary units and workers were granted national labor awards and honorary titles at the meeting, among which eight were from Changzhou.

The Zenith Steel Group received the National Labor Award. Four individuals, including Zhang Dongjie from Shangshang Cable Group, Shi Ling from Huamao Jinsheng Tech Co., Ltd, You Jianya from New Solar Tech Group, and Meng Fanting from Zenith Steel received National Labor Medals. Two workshops - one from Wanhua (Changzhou) New Material Technology, and one from Jiangsu Wujin Stainless Steel Pipe Group - as well as the Tianning branch of Changzhou Traffic Police Department won the title of “model working units”.
